As a Lead Webservice API Architect,  you will be responsible for helping the business and technology worlds harness the power of web API’s.  The Lead API Architect is a customer- and developer community-facing, technical expert who advises business leaders, developers and architects on how to design, develop and deploy world class web API’s.  Although this is a technical position, the candidate should be able to demonstrate a history of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to define requirements, plan projects and ultimately deliver superb technical solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Architect API solutions with clients, based on best practices.
  • Develop and maintain API training and workshop material.
  • Design a consistent, fluent and powerful RESTful Webservice API, which exposes the complete functionality of all AMHSoft  products.

your qualifications :

 

  • Successfully demonstrated the ability to lead the software architecture process, provide appropriate team support and maintenance of artifacts throughout the design and development life  cycle
  • Excellent knowledge on the latest RESTful Webservice-, Caching- (ETags, conditional request, …), SOA- and Security concepts (Basic/Digest Auth, OAuth2, Certificate-Based authentication)
  • Good working experience with different popular Webservice APIs (Google, Facebook, Twitter, Amazon, GitHub, etc.)
  • Several years of working experience as a Java Software developer using Java 6/7, common Open Source Frameworks (Spring, Spring MVC, Jersey, JAX-RS, …)
  • Very good written and verbal English language skills
