A database administrator (DBA) is responsible for the performance, integrity and security of a database. Additional role requirements are likely to include planning, development and troubleshooting.
A database administrator may also be responsible for ensuring the uptime of any servers and hardware that databases are running on, ensuring that everything is well maintained and if there are any issues, that they are taken care of promptly.
your qualifications :
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position demonstrating strong problem solving and analytic skills
- A proved administration experience in the following environments: Linux, Redhat, Sun OS, Solaris.
- Strong Oracle DBA skills and good experience track.
- Excellent written/verbal English communication skills .
